This past weekend, Disney Channel’s Camp Rock starring The Jonas Brothers scored the network’s biggest ratings ever for a non-sequel movie. And remember end of the summer color wars at camp? Earlier this spring, Internet-based color wars flared up. Hearkening back even further to camp nostalgia is one of the hottest and most hilarious books of the summer and it is all about summer sleep away camp memories: Camp Camp: Where Fantasy Island Meets Lord of the Flies.

We here at RedStamp.com are big fans of camp kitsch and some of us have even gone so far as to switch to using camp themed stationery for the summer.
In honor of the all this camp craziness resurgence, we’ve even created a camp/summer themed music mix to get you in the mood: redstampcamp.muxtape.com.
Tomorrow, Friday, June 20th is the summer solstice, the longest day of the year + the official start of summer. For those of us in Minnesota we could not be happier to welcome the the summer season. Why not celebrate this fabulous season? Warm weather, long hours of daylight — the perfect excuse to gather friends, bring out a bottle of prosecco, fire up the grill and relax.
This weekend I will be celebrating the summer solistice by hosting a BBQ for some friends that I haven’t seen in some time. And of course, the best parties start off with the perfect invitations. Here are a few of my favorites ::
Sugar Bean :: BBQ Fill-in Invitation :: {Bonus :: they are now on sale!} $9.99/set of 8
Snow + Graham :: Come for a BBQ Coaster Invitation :: $14/set of 6
Remember the days of your popsicle dripping sticky drops of fabulous flavor all the way down to your elbows? Try this fun card as an invitation. Jot all your party details on the inside, drop it in the mail and you’re one step closer to your summer fiesta.
Pie Bird Press :: Creamsicles Card :: $3.75 each
Or if you are thinking about a 4th of July gathering, try this perfect card to kick-off the holiday ::

Enjoy the sun. Enjoy your friends. Enjoy yourself. Happy summer!
A friend of mine called me up the other day and asked if I had any wedding anniversary gift ideas that he could give to his wife for their first anniversary. We happen to have TONS of gifts that are perfect for anniversaries, especially first wedding anniversaries {the traditional first wedding anniversary gift is “paper” so he came to the right place. How perfect!?!} I suggested a few things for him to give to his bride for their first anniversary. First, I suggested personalized stationery – great to have on hand for thank you notes or for dropping a line to a long distance friend. We have so many options so it’s hard to choose just one. My personal favorite are these luxurious Paper & Ink Designs :: Yellow Peony Notecard :: $1.70 – $2.00
My second gift idea for him was a journal. I thought it would be cute if he wrote a little note on the first page, describing his favorite memories of their first year together. Every time she writes in it, she’ll be reminded of her hubby.
International Arrivals :: Giselle Journal :: $9.00
Finally, for someone who doesn’t write a lot of notes or journal entries: the snow and graham noteBLOCK. Write a love note on the first piece of the noteBLOCK. Not only is this noteBLOCK super useful, because who doesn’t need sticky notes for jotting down a quick message or note, but it’s also very classy and looks great on any desk.
Snow and Graham:: Blackberry noteBLOCK :: $16.00
All of these options make perfect gifts fo any occasion, especially anniversaries. I know I would be thrilled to get any of these from my hubby in August {hint, hint}.
