In hopes of inspiring more handwritten notes, I occasionally share one of the notes I write {and the 3-part checklist} behind each note. Handwritten notes are a snap to send when kept light + focused. The ensuing praise? Amazing.

A little background…Sara is a wonderful fashion reporter who is also just an all-around lovely person. While at our sample sale this weekend, she left me a little unexpected note that made my Monday morning. {I love unexpected correspondence most of all!}

A Perfect Way to Plus Up Your Tiniest Parties

There are many reasons Renee and I are good friends as well as co-workers. One of them? Her passion for celebrating anything + everything. Just A Quick Note…

The joy that follows unexpected, simple correspondence is SOOOO fun! It’s the reason I stick little xoxo notes on my husband’s bathroom mirror. It’s why I add happy notes + drawings to my son’s lunchbox. It’s why most memos are made better with a personal intro.

So when I received this thoughtful note from Sara Glassman, a fashion reporter for the StarTribune + the tour de force behind PopFizzDaily on my desk this morning, I had to smile + show everyone around the office. {Sara dropped it off when she was at our sale this weekend.}
